Welcome to our blog! The United Arts Council is designated by the state of Florida as the official arts agency for Collier County, Florida. Our mission is “enriching lives and strengthening the community through the power of the arts.” Our two main focus areas are promoting the arts on behalf of the entire arts community, and providing arts education for at-risk students. Services include:
* Connecting arts organizations, artists, galleries and arts educators with one another, with local audiences, and with tourism-related businesses.
* Providing arts education to at-risk students and outreach services to those who might not otherwise have access to the arts.
* Providing arts information to the public, and publishing a comprehensive cultural calendar, printed and online.
* Providing services to arts organizations, galleries and artists.
* Advocating for more arts education in our schools, more funding for the arts, and more art in public places.
